Cut down on carbonated soft drinks. Many, including diet sodas, contain acids that can damage tooth enamel.
Plaque starts forming immediately after you have cleaned your teeth whether you eat or not. One thorough brushing and inter-dental cleaning per day is of the utmost importance. If you wish to clean more often, it is up to you.
